Manuscript Document Signed “Adam Tipple” 1pp. folio, March 25, 1806, and reads in part: “...Know all men by these present that I Adam Tipple of the town of Clawnack, in the county of Colubmia of the State of New York, for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and fifteen pounds lawful money of the State aforesaid to one in hand paid by Margaret Hittle, Andrew Hittle, and John J. Hittle of the town of Hinderbrook county aforseaid at or before sealing and dlevery of these presents do grant, bargain and sell unto the said Margaret, Andrew and John...a certain Negro man named Abe about the age of twenty-one years...” Fine condition.
