War-date Confederate soldier Autograph Letter Signed “S.C. Williams Lieut C.S. Army, 1pp. quarto, Head Quarters Cobb’s Legion, Camp Marion, Near Yorktown, November 15, 1861, and reads in part: “...Sir it is with much pain that I announce to you the death of your brother Major E. F. Bagley of this Legion he was accidently killed on the 12th inst., his remains will be sent tomorrow to Mobile, Alabama, for internment...” Fine condition.
