Large Mounted Engraving, 13-1/2" 8", to larger printed mount. "AURICULA" with German language description, Mantes 1961. The image is hand tinted. Auricula, the filly became the second classic winner and second St. Leger winner produced by Pocahontas. Pocahontas' last foal, the filly Araucaria, won the 10-furlong Stamford Plate. Araucaria became an excellent broodmare herself.
