WINSLOW, Edward (1669-1753), who produced a great quantity of silver work, was the grandson of trouble-making Anne Hutchinson of religious fame. He held even more political offices than was usual among his fellow smiths. Partly-printed Document Signed “Edward Winslow Sheriff” on verso of a court document, with notation in his hand dated March 19, 17234, Boston, it reads “By virtue of this write I attached an anvilleon the deft. Samuel Perk showed me as his estate and I gave him a summons the smae time....” Fine condition.
