Amos Alonzo Stagg (1862-1965), Footballs first genius was this longtime Head coach (1892-1929) at the University of Chicago. Stagg was great but his innovations to the game were his legacy. He introduced, to name a few, the huddle, tackle dummies, reverse play, the varsity letter, uniform numbers and the man in motion. Signed Card "Amos Alonzo Stagg" and "A A Stagg" on the return address envelope, 1932.
