Nice large group of twenty (20) Revolutionary War date pay orders for supplies for the Continental Army, September through December 1781, authorizing the payment of various amounts to named individuals, “being for supplies furnished the Continental Army.” All direct John Lawerence, Treasurer of the State of Connecticut to pay various people, and are authorized by the Pay Table Committee. Most are 6”x8”, on nice heavy stock, and are in very good to fine condition.
