Part of the rarest of early photography assemblages in American History is this Civil War era CDV showing Revolutionary War veteran Alexander Millener, aged 104, who was born in Quebec, Canada, in 1760, served with the 1st New York Regiment as a drummer under Colonel Van Schaicks, 1779-1783, and was present at the Heights of Abraham, Brandywine, White Plains, Saratoga, Monmouth, and Yorktown. N.A. & R.A. Moore backmark. Very good condition.
