A good post Revolutionary War Supplement to the Connecticut Courant Newspaper, 2pp. folio, on bluish rage paper, April 13, 1784 with great content including the publication of two Massachusetts laws dealing the probate and treasury issues that are signed in type by John Hancock and Samuel Adams plus a rare New York State runaway slave notice placed by the slave holders: Jeremiah Copper, Oliver Teller, Peter Dubois and Martin Wiltsie of Fiskill, New York, reading, in part: "Run-Away from the subscribers, two Negro men, supposed to be aged 22 years each, both named Sam, one a large well built fellow, with very large feet, wore leather Breeches, a grey Coat and large Hat; the other five feet eight inches high, understands a mill, wore a large hat, leather Breeches and light coloured Coat…whoever will return Negros shall be entitled to Five Pounds Reward for each and all reasonable charges…". Fine.
