United States Colored Troops discharge for Private George Washington, a freed slave from Abbeyville, South Carolina who picked up a rifle and fought his former master during the Civil War, 1pp. quarto, March 13, 1866, Natchez, Mississippi. Signed by Lt. Frederick Roziene of Chico, serving the 47th USCT and by Captain Charles Mumford, 66th USCT. Very good condition.
