This robe is truly stunning. The solid black robe is pleated in the front, carries a felt skull and crossbones patch, and snaps from the rear. It is fully inner-lined with a light brown cloth (I’ve never seen a fully lined KKK robe.) There are 8 closure snaps in the back, (maker identified as C-F- Co., USF), from shoulder to end seam. A hood is attached, half stitched to the robe, ends with a closure hook. The full hood has stitched eye and mouth holes. A black braided waste tie, ends with two tassels, is included. Also included with the lot is a 18” Billie club which has a similar braided tie. c1890, Fine.
