Urquhart’s Pennsylvania Reserves.” 9-3/4”x7-3/4”, and begins “The first Dress Parade of this unrivalled corps, composed of the choicest material between the ages of 21 and 45, and organized under the laws exempting able-bodied white (livered) persons from participation in the military duties of citizens (while their neighbors were standing in line of battle in Maryland, with the thunder of Jackson’s cannon in their ears, and awaiting the order to advance) will be held simultaneously with the departure of the Conscript Fathers from this place, and will be enlivened by a variety of Entertaining Exercises...” Printed at Carbondale, October 1862.
