War-date Union soldier’s Autograph Letter Signed by Moses Marx, 1st Ohio Light Artillery and later service with the 150th Ohio Infantry, 3pp. octavo, Camp on Cripple Creek, February 18, 1863, with patriotic cover addressed to his father, and reads in part: “...I have been sick but am well now. I am weak yet and am not doing duty. We signed the payroll yesterday and expect to be paid off in a few days. We expect to get four months pay but we might not only get two...It rains most of the time and consequently it is very muddy...I am sorry that Jake Bluin wrote that I was sick and made you feel anxious...
