Imprint “Reminiscene of the Fiftieth New York Volunteer Engineers, by Frank B. Williams” 9pp. 6”x9-1/2”, Washington D.C., 1864, good condition. This regiment, organized and accepted by the State as a regiment of infantry, was converted by the War Department, October 22, 186l, into an engineer regiment, and known thereafter as the Fiftieth New York Volunteer Engineers, under which title its record is noted. Mustered out in June 1865.
