War-date Union Document Signed by William Stone 1st Lt. Invalid Corps, who while with the 19th Massachusetts Infantry was WIA at Glendale, Antietam and Gettysburg, he was later brevetted major for his heroic actions during the war. This document is 1pp. quarto, Office A. A. Provost-Marshal-General at Philad’a, February 15, 1864, requesting Lt. C.B. Brockway 1st Pennsylvania Artillery to notify the Adjutant General when his unit returns to the army. Very good condition.
