A nice war-date CDV of Zachary Taylor's son Richard Taylor (1826-1879) as Confederate general who was the original colonel of the 9th Louisiana Infantry and served in the Shenandoah Valley under Stonewall Jackson in 1862 and completely defeated Union General Nathaniel Banks during his Red River campaign in 1864.
