Scarce, mounted oval albumen photograph, 1-1/2” x 2,” on printed and embossed card stock mat, 2-1/2” x 3,” with words “For President, Hon. John C. Breckenridge, of Kentucky. Published by Henry F. Granger and Co.” Very Good. The Democratic Party had split. Breckenridge ran as a Pro Slavery Democrat winning in eleven states and gaining 72 Electoral votes. Douglas ran as a Northern Democrat winning only two states and 19 Electoral votes.
