Book, "Expositions of the Causes and Character of the War Between the United States and Great-Britain," 1815, Concord, NH., 108pp., ex-library, hard bound, clipped corners. This popular work gives a long explanation of Great Britain's culpability in initiating the war. Howes notes that it is also attributed to President James Madison. Written prior to the Ghent treaty which was signed December 24, 1814.
