The Elixir of Life (Elixir Vitae), also known as "potable gold" is an elixir of youth, a potion or a drink under the legendary would extend indefinitely the life or preserve her youth forever. The search for such purposes is an elixir of alchemy . Several myths have such a potion. We note, the myth of Enoch , Idunn Thoth and Hermes Trismegistus , who have consumed. This myth is also linked to the character of Al-Khidr in the Quran and it appears in texts from Nag Hammadi .
