Excellent section of linen fragment featuring Andrew Jackson’s victory over the British at the Battle of New Orleans at center, with title “The Glorious Finishing New Orleans January 8th, 1815” and quote by Jackson “Without the advantages of discipline we have Conquer’d Conquerors.” 11”x11-1/2” in red and butternut, c. 1815-1820. Very good condition.
