Part of the rarest of early photography assemblages in American History is this Civil War era CDV showing Revolutionary War veteran Lemuel Cook, aged 105, who was born in Northbury, Connecticut 1759, and served with the 2nd Regiment of Connecticut Light Dragoons, under Colonel Sheldon, 1781-1783, fought at Brandywine and was present at Cornwallis' surrender. N.A. & R.A. Moore backmark. Very good condition.
