War-date Confederate soldier's Autograph Letter Signed by Thomas W.G. Inglett, Company C, 28th Georgia Vols, WIA at Cold Harbor and Darbytown Road, 1pp. quarto, June 2, 1862, and reads in part: "...I was in a big battle on the 31 of May but thank God I did not get hurt but our poor boys fell on each side of me. In our company was killed Billy Finch, Gabe Henderson, Bill Chavus, Jim Price and John Welch, and we had eight or ten wounded. Our Regt. was cut all to pieces, we got 156 men killed and wounded . We run the Yankees from there camps, the 28th Georgia Regt took a battery...I was in the fight for three hours..." Fine condition.
