Inglett, Company C, 28th Georgia Vols, WIA at Cold Harbor and Darbytown Road, 2pp. octavo, Petersburg, Virginia, September 8, 1864, and reads in part: "...I was sharp shooting yesterday at a battery that was playing on our battery and they turned the guns on me and throwed two loads of grape shot at me and two of them just did miss my head. One of the sharpshooters was killed. It was one of Company E...You can tell the folks that Ed is prisoner or killed and so was Jas.
