War-date Confederate soldier's Autograph Letter Signed by Thomas W.G. Inglett, Company C, 28th Georgia Vols, WIA at Cold Harbor and Darbytown Road, 2pp. folio, on quartermaster form, James Island, South Carolina, January 18, 1864, and reads in part: "...I did not get hurt in the fort. The Yankees did not throw but 8 shells in the 12 days at the fort and they did not hurt anyone in the fort..." Fine condition.
