War-date Union Manuscript Document Signed, 1pp. quarto, Old Town Landing, September 11, 1862, being charges preferred against James T. Kindred, 10th Illinois Cavalry, for leaving camp without permission as well as entering the home of a family of negroes, declaring themselves Confederates in pursuit of Yankees, and "by threats of personal violence and by actually hanging up one negro, force them to give up to him a considerable amount of money." Very good condition.
