War-date Autograph Letter Signed by James M. McKinley ,1pp. quarto, on Dubuque and Sioux City Railroad Company lettersheet, August 15, 1862, addressed to Adjutant N.B. Baker, and reads "If the commissioner for this county, to decide on exemptions from militia service, has not yet been appointed, I would be pleased to have the appointment...." Fine condition.
