War-date Union officer's Document Signed "Jas. A. Mulligan" by a secretary, 1pp. oblong octavo, Head Quarters Camp Douglas, Chicago, March 27, 1862, addressed to Captain Naugton, Commanding the Irish Dragoons, and reads "My letter is at your disposal. In any way you can benefit Col. White by the statement of his heroic conduct at Lexington do it. It would gladden our Irish Brigade to hear of his success..." Very good condition.
