Newspaper, Frank Leslie's Illustrated, August 15, 1863, complete issue, 16pp., disbound, VG. War date issue with reports and engravings of the War. Strong engravings include the center spread, "Triumphal Entrance of Gen. Grant's Army Into Vicksburg, July 4." And, 1/2 page engraving "Opening of the Mississippi ..." shows slaves on the shore cheering; and a 1/6 page engraving of Brig. Gen. John H. Morgan.
