Two Newspapers, Frank Leslie's Illustrated, May 14, 1863 and December 24, 1864, complete issues, 16pp., disbound, VG. War date issue with reports and engravings of the War. From the March 14th issue, an interior full page engraving shows Captured Black Contraband; from the December 24th issue, 1/2 page engraving of a Black soldier leading a substitute broker and a bounty jumper; and a Lincoln cartoon showing the President advising the Colored Soldier, "Sambo ... as to sending you back to your old master, I'm not the man to do it ..."
