War-date Union soldier's Autograph Letter Signed by Lt. George W. Kilmer, who was wounded in action and taken prisoner of war by the Confederates at the engagement of Morris Farm, 3pp. octavo, Head Quarters 141st Pennsylvania, March 11, 1864, and reads in part: "...Sgt. C[harles] Scott got a letter from you last eve & I read it of course. How are the gay young ladies of Liberty Corners & there abouts. I think you must be having grand times with some of them. Tell Sarah Jane that Chas. Scott invited me to the wedding when they get spliced. Well she is getting a tiptop fellow no mistake as for that....I have just been drinking some ale that came from A.J. Nobles & it tastes fine so I will drink a toast to you & lady...I am in command of Co. F of our Regt. they are fine fellows..." Fine condition.
