Capron, 17th Vermont Infantry, 3pp. octavo, on fine "The Shenandoah Valley & our Union Volunteers" lettersheet, November 29, 1864, Camp near Pegram House, Virginia, and reads in small part: "...I would like to be to home and see your soldiers that you have got there, fire side guards or home cowards I don't think they would like to smell powder very well..." Fine condition.
