War-date Union soldier's Autograph Letter Signed by Marion Lindsley, 1st New York Dragoons, WIA at Five Forks, April 1, 1865, resulting in the amputation of his left arm, on illustrated lettersheet, Camp near Yorktown, July 10, 1863, 4pp. octavo, and reads in part: "…it has rained most of the time since we left Yorktown and the roads are quite muddy…" with a nice near full page sketch of the lay out of his camp. VG.
