Group of three photos to include; Framed albumen, identified in the negative “Bat. B. Pa Vol, Chickamuaga, Ga.,” showing fourteen soldiers in camp, 9-1/2” x 6-1/2” in large, loose frame;Albumen phto, ..plus, 9-1/2” x 6-1/2” shows encampment with horse-drawn cannon, dozens of tents, horses and soldiers, chipped bottom right causes loss of phot paper; ... plus, Albumen photo, 4-1/2” x 7-1/2” with fifteen uniform soldiers surroundinga cannon. These men, on May 8th mustered into the United States service as Light Battery "B," Pennsyivania Volunteer Artillery. The battery remained at Mt. Gretna until May 18, 1898, when under orders from the War Department it proceeded to Camp Thomas, Chickamauga, Georgia, arriving there May 20th, and reported to Major General Brooke, commanding First Army Corps.
