Group of three Florida business letters, includes: Autograph Letter Signed "J.H. Foster" 1pp. octavo, New York, September 11, 1875, and reads "I have received a paper from Florida this morning, and notice in the advertisements one of T.E. Wilson & Co. stating that he has opened my store at sylvan Lake which was left locked up and is selling my goods without any authority from me. I leave on Tuesday and I shall take steps immediately to see who authorized him to open my store in my absence..." Fine condition...plus; ALS referencing the letter and stating that Wilson had loaned Foster money and that they had previously discussed the stores business. With accounting sheet and an 1861 letter. Very good condition.
