To include: General George Thomas ALS, one page, 4to, Murfreesboro, Tennessee, May 2, 1863, to Dr. John D. Hale regarding the Union cause…plus; Kentucky Governor E. B. Little, ALS, one page, 4to, Frankfort, April 28, 1864, lambasting Ferguson…plus; Threatening letter to Hale, one page, 8vo, Arkansas, 1868, likely of KKK origin. (Hale's testimony helped condemn Ferguson in 1865)…plus; 1886 published remembrance of Ferguson, one page, 4to, backed with another facsimile of the Arkansas letter. Some minor creases, else fine
