Broadside, THE RIGHTEOUS SHALL BE IN EVERLASTING REMEMBRANCE, Psalms 112-6, ANDREW JACKSON, THE SEVENTH PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES, Fall River: Almy & Milne, circa 1862. This Civil War era biography in verse was crafted to evoke Jacksonian nationalism, with particular attention drawn to his handling of the South Carolina Nullification crisis. A verse in the first part, for example, reads "Put down, said he, this lawless raid, Strike your Palmetto banners, Or I'll at once your ports blockade, And teach you better manners." Even age toning with a few small marginal splits at the folds. VG.
