Fourteen war-date CDVs of Confederate heroes being a fine group of finely engraved lithographs without backmarks and mounted as pairs in period album pages. Included are portraits of P. G. T. Beauregard, Braxton Bragg, Simon Buckner, Jefferson Davis, Stonewall Jackson, A. S. Johnson, Joseph Johnston, Robert E. Lee, James Longstreet, John Magruder, John Pemberton, Leonidas Polk, Sterling Price and J.E.B. Stuart. All in fine condition.
