This theater was produced by Milton Bradley & Co., Springfield, Mass, 1866, 8-1/4” 5” x2” deep. The face is cut-out to expose the Civil War images as the top knobs are turned. Scenes depicted include; Firing on Ft. Sumter, Baltimore Riots, killing of Ellsworth, battle scenes, The Sharpshooter, and others. Unfortunately, the “box” is missing its top which provides all the manufacturing information. However, we have has these before. they were marketed with the name "The Myriopticon, Historical Panorama of the Rebellion." The roll itself is VG. However the top knobs do not move the roll. In complete condition, these sell at $1000-$1500.
