A 21-1/2” x 25” Framed Collage of Klan Material to include; A 13” x 5” panoramic photograph of a Klan rally where several children are being blessed or received by the Klan. Four civilian couples stand before three robed Klansmen and an American flag, with children next to them or in arms. A panoramic array of robed Klansmen fills the background of the photo, which is dated Stamford, Ct., July 13, 1924. ... plus, A printed survey form, completed in manuscript, folded to show a list of names and addresses, ... plus, A printed receipt certifying donation to the "propagating fund of the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan (Inc.)" which entitles the donor to be "received, on the acceptance of his petition, under the laws, regulations and requirements of the Order, duly naturalized and to have and to hold all the rights, titles, honors and protection as a citizen of the Invisible Empire." ... plus, The final three items are pamphlets promoting Klan literature, entitled: "The Attitude of the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan toward the Jew"; "Principles and Purposes of the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan Are Outlined by an Exalted Cyclops of the Order"; and "The Attitude of the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan Toward Immigration." An interesting assortment of memorabilia from the peak era of Klan power. The Klan is generally thought of as a Southern thing, but it was alive and well in New England.
