G., one page with docketing, legal sheet, Shelbyville, Tennessee, June 16, 1863, reading, in part, "The following named privates belonging to Cavalry Regiments but who are dismounted, are transferred at their own request, to the commands set opposite their respective names, to take effect July 1, 1863…". The ten horse-less men are slated for either infantry regiments or artillery batteries. Some fading, good condition.
