Confederate Newspaper, a complete and authentic issue of The Tri-Weekly Telegraph, Houston, January 15, 1864, single sheet issue with paper loss at the centerfold. Still, Confederate period Texas newspaper are scarce. From the front, full column article “Sketches of Quantrell’s Men,” provides a gruesome review of Quantrell’s Lawrence Kansas Massacre in this letter by "Wau-Cas-Sie". The author sent a series of letters to the Telegraph. The paper loss does not affect this exciting letter.
