A great war-date Union regimental order book, large folio, leather bound, entitled in period ink: "Special Orders, Genl. Orders, Circulars, Mess No. 1, 164th Regt. O. V. I., 1st Brigade, De Russy's Division, Army of the Potomac." Approximately 50 pages contain much information related to the 164th Ohio. The rear of the book shows some postwar farming usage. Good for regimental research projects. Overall VG
