Circular, imprint by the German Society of the City of New York, January 20, 1866, 2 pp. on four, 4to, reading, in part, "The termination of our war and the abolition of slavery have at last opened the Southern States to peaceful immigration and have thereby presented a new and attractive field of labor to enterprising foreigners…It is therefore a matter of vital importance that complete information in regard to the states desiring immigration should be obtained and made accessible to all interested parties…". Light browning with splits at the folds, good condition.
