Henry Clay, 13-1/2” x 21-1/2,” engraving in 1844 by John Sartain after a painting by James Wise, the Whig candidate from Kentucky is shown as being every inch the consummate statesman. A few small creases, corners with pinhole perforations, some minor marginal chipping and splits, overall browning, good condition.
