Nice group of four items pertaining to the Centennial Celebration of the Revolutionary battle at bunker Hill. Included is an eight page newspaper dated June 17, 1875, printed and published by Rand, Avery, & Co., Boston. The front page shows an "Uncle Sam" type figure smoking a cigar while leaning against the Bunker Hill Memorial. The paper details the battle and has woodcut images of the battle and maps. Also included are two "Bunker Hill Songsters", 34 pp. each, one in yellow wraps and the other in white wraps. Lastly a "Revolutionary Worthies" pamphlet with images of Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Roger Sherman and Martha Washington. The booklet contains biographies of the pictured patriots. The booklets are all in excellent condition, the newspapers has some edge roughness and tears, but is complete. A nice assemblage pertaining to a seminal event in American history.
