Engraving, 7-1/2” x 4-3/4,” “The Successful Man Hunt,” withdrawn from a book, c1850’s. This engraved image carries a great detail with 8 well armed, white men on horseback. There are four leashed hunt dogs led by a slave. Two captured slave are horseback, one thrown across the horse, the other hands restrained behind his back. A third captured slave is walking beside a horse, the rider has a rope tied around the slave’s neck. Minor spotting
