Includes issues on Gettysburg, Vicksburg and Chancellorsville. A wonderful record of the 3rd and decisive year in America’s Civil War, with first hand accounts of battlefield action as well as wonderful reporting and commentary. An outstanding set of 1863 Harper’s, occasional flaws as expeted.
