Identified Soldier’s Collapsable Tin Drinking Cup, telescopes to 3-1/4” tall with a 2-1/4” diameter base. The identification is engraved on the rim, “Charles Ottinger.” Ottinger enlisted November 3, 1862 into the Pennsylvania 151st Infantry, and was mustered out July 27, 1863. The 151st was heavily engaged at Gettysburg. In addition, there are emblems engraved on the rim, one Masonic and the other Odd Fellows. Comes with its two piece case. Neat.
