A great piece of Civil War era, ca. February 1861, patriotic stationery depicting all the American presidents up to and including Abraham Lincoln. George Washington's portrait graces the center of the engraving surrounded by all the Nation's former presidents including the newly elected beardless Abraham Lincoln who can be seen at the top. The engraving is boldly, entitled in the lower banner: "The Presidents of Our Great Republic." Published by Lange & Kronfeld, New York City. Originally intended to be used for a four page letter since the original back page is still attached. Unused in VG condition with minor soiling and ready for framing!
