Six items pertaining to President Lincoln as follows: Brass 1860 campaign medallion naming Abraham Lincoln and Hannibal Hamlin, 24mm, pierced with red, white and blue suspension loop. Ferrotypes of the candidates were originally on either side, however are no longer present…plus; Burgundy cloth belt or sash remnant mounted with (224) stamped brass 13mm discs showing Lincoln's bust in profile. Fine condition…plus; Black lace pinback mourning badge with red center, 3 ½", fine condition…plus; CDV from a lithograph portrait of Lincoln, no backmark, very good…plus; undated lithograph of Lincoln, possibly from the 1909 centennial of his birth, 3 ¼" x 5", fine condition…plus; Book, COLONEL COGGESHALL THE MAN WHO SAVED LINCON, by Freda Postle Koch (Columbus, Ohio: Poco Press, 1985), 261 pp, 8vo, card covers. Fine condition. The listed items preceding the book description are allegedly from the Coggeshall family of Ohio. Colonel Coggeshall apparently foiled an 1861 attempt on Lincoln's life.
