Pine construction, 8 ¾" x 2 ½" x 5 ¼", circa 1890s, the top with a plain printed label giving the brand name, the left side with a clipped chromolithograph portrait of Keene and the lid's underside with the full Laura Keene label. The subject was an English actress who is best remembered for starring in "Our American Cousin" at Ford's Theater on the night President Lincoln was shot. Very good condition.
